Registration for the Tasmanian Two-Hat XII is now open. The Two-Hat will be held on the weekend of October 9-10. Information on how to register can be found at the Two-Hat page.

Registration is now open for the Winter Indoor League with late fees kicking in from July 24. Winter League will run on Sunday afternoons from 3:45-6:00pm from August 1st until September 26th, at Aurora Sports Stadium, Creek Road, New Town. Thanks to Alysia Prevost for running this league.

Rumour has it that the UTas team ended up with the bronze medal at Southern University Games, finishing up in third place. Congratulations to the team. More details when the information comes to hand.

Stop! Hammertime! did win spirit and Matt Platts won the Autumn League defeating Clockwork in the grand final 12-7. Other prize winners include Mark Verrall for Guts in the final, Matt Platts for Style in the final, rising stars Matthew Berne and Hayley Saltmarsh and best recruiters Huddy Fuller and Eliza Burke-Polden. Thanks to Matt Smith for running this league. More details including the final minor round table with final spirit scores can be found by following the appropriate links on the League History page. Look out for an announcement on Winter league registration shortly.

| July 6 |
There is a University of Tasmania ultimate team currently competing at the Southern University Games. The first day saw the UTas team win their first game against Vic Uni, followed by a close loss against LaTrobe and another loss to Flinders University. Given the number of beginner players on this team, this is an excellent first day. It is great to see a UTas team travel to the mainland for the first time since 2007. Good luck to the team for the second day of the tournament, when they face Ballarat Uni, and then repeat games against Vic Uni, La Trobe and Flinders Uni. Thanks also to Eliza and Huddy for the work they put in to nurturing and developing this team.

Registration for halfWIT II (a one day indoor tournament to be played on July 18) is still open. According to the TDs places are filling quickly, so you better sign up soon if you don't want to miss out. Late registration fees apply from July 6 onwards.
