May 9 Scoober Divers and Uephota are the early league leaders in the Autumn League. As well as results of the first week of games, the initial game schedule and team lists are also now available.
April 28 Congratulations to Bush who finished in 7th place in the women's division at the Australian Ultimate Championships, 5 places higher than their seeding and finishing as the second ranked team out of the 4 women's teams from the southern region. Bush started slowly with a win and two losses on the first day, sending them to a lower pool (ranking 9-14). However, they were undefeated in their next 4 games in the lower pool, and by finishing top of this pool this gave Bush the opportunity to beat the 4th seed (which they achieved), for a chance to play off for places 5-8. This result was a significant improvement on the team's 11th place finish in 2007 and is the best final result for any Tasmanian representative team at the Australian Ultimate Championships.
